There are over 18 people working at the Reef’s Southport restaurant, with two of the most senior staff having half a century of seafood industry knowledge between them, as well as a qualified Japanese seafood chef with almost as many years experience. The reef team work together towards providing you with quality produce and advice.


Located in Newstead, the Brisbane restaurant has a modern fit out to cater to 80 seated, complete with fully licenced bar, craft beers on tap, a wonderful selection of wines and Champagne, even an oyster bar with onsite oyster opener. We cook the freshest seafood straight from our large display tanks and even cut your fresh fillets right before your eyes.

Our Japanese section has the best Japanese chefs preparing for you the finest Sushi, Sashimi and other amazing Japanese dishes.
